As an Indian, I'm so ashamed of what happened. It's just disgusting, Indian news channels can be extremely racist sometimes. It's not uncommon India for people to assume that anyone who looks east Asian is Chinese and with all the tension between India & China may have led to this. I am an Indian and love k pop, especially black pink. I am seriously really ashamed of what that Hindi news showed. There have been things going on between china and India but they should have done research about this topic, that she an Thai kpop idol and not Chinese, also calling them 'strippers' was extremely disrespectful, disgusting and hurting. Also as an Indian I notice that they tend to call anyone who looks 'Asian' as Chinese. I really wish the society and people here could change. Also it was really dumb how they said that 'they were dancing against the government's implied lock down', they did not even know that they were old concert videos. About the Indian news thing, News channels using the wrong clip on their news segment isn't that unheard of. Even the likes of the BBC have made errors like this. I bet many of you fans who are angry, don't regularly watch news channels and are aware of such blunders happening. Edit: Also know, people who wonder why they have BLACKPINK footage in the first place, remember the Ganesha thing of not even a month ago? Likely, they had some footage of them lying around about that whole issue.

Of course we as humans is normal to make mistakes. It would have been okay if the technical error was during a performance such as a mic problem , distorted sounds etc. BUT this is a NEWS CHANNEL. A PROFFESIONAL CHANNEL. Since its a news channel no technical errors should have been done. The only technical error that could be exscused is the delay of sound from a reporter to another. SO THERE IS NO EXSCUSE FOR THIS TECHNICAL ERROR TO BE MADE

About the news station and Blackpink, I 100% feel like this was them just being lazy. Though still disrespectful, I don't think it was meant to attack Blackpink, but rather they were too lazy to find actual footage of what they were talking about. They probably already had the footage of Blackpink from another story and thought, hey good enough. I haven't worked for an actual news station, but I did study this and worked in the studio at school.

U make it seem like the situation with jeffree and Choerry was a super funny inside joke. In my opinion it was a very inappropriate and it showed k-pop fans in a bad way. For me those screenshots of what they were saying were very believable and i could have quickly made some really bad assumptions about those people. I am very disappointed in how you showed the situation (like a stupid little funny joke) and i will not be returning to this channel.
