About CLC, you can check for yourself but when they have comebacks they get promotion, they go to shows, etc but they just don't bring in money for CUBE cuase sadly they're not as popular and successful as G idle, at the end of the day kpop is a business and being part of a company you have to bring them money

I also have to say that I'm a latin american and our music is very popular, look for latin music and you'll see 1.B million of reproduction instantly but the VMAS or any purely american show never recognize latin artists. This is not only happening to Kpop, also to latin music but the fans aren't complaining about this :/ I'm a Blink and kpop stan and I can surely say that I'm tired of waiting for American recognition. Let's just move on, Idols don't need those awards

I think Red velvet deserves best kpop as Psycho was a masterpiece, i love BTS but i prefer black swan and ON wasnt that good for me. I also think there should be at least two kpop groups nominated for best MV cause some of the best mvs r from kpop as they spend so much time and effort on them like (G) I-dle mv was spectacular and im surprised twice wasnt nominated. I also wanted BP to be nominated but theres always next yr

I doubt American award shows will treat BTS with the respect they deserve anytime soon. This is because there are very powerful movers and shakers in the industry who will not allow a "Korean Boy band" to come and take over their turf . They will only try to use BTS for clout but they will not (at least not anytime soon) acknowledge how talented and revolutionary they are. They might invite them to awards, throw in a little recognition here and there but when it comes to giving them the actual recognition they deserve, I really don't see them doing that anytime soon. The American music industry is very political and there are people at the helm of affairs who run things.

About MTV VMAs - I hear Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga 'Rain on me' all the time on the radio. BTS? None. Blackpink? None. Kpop artist are big but they aren't mainstream as in you will only hear them in Asia as a regular on radio. In Europe and USA? If I didn't look them up on youtube I wouldn't know they existed....and hence they aren't really 'artist of the year' anything to me, more like a weird asian thing that is fun to watch but then you forget about it in a while. And also if you think of who in the world population knows about pop singers and pop stars - my parents (in the 50s) know who Lady Gaga, Kanye etc is. They have never heard of Blackpink or BTS as they just aren't mainstream enough to catch their eye. Kpop is still an asian thing and I think it's really amazing that MTV even made a separate category for them. They are being noticed...but to be noticed enough to 'artist of the year' that will take more time

Honestly why yall waste time voting? Bts and bp get treated the same as other foriegn celebs. Examplea are the many hispanic celebs like daddy yankee getting put in specific categories like best latin song, same as kpop. Many dont get included in categories as western artists from America and even Europe,only a few.It's something u get used to when living in the west, which sucks but it's why I stopped wasting my time on such votes and dont watch them. My expectations arent high. I do watch the grammys or bbmas but many times I refrain from participating in votes or watching it live on tv, I just wait a few hours til performance or nomination clips are put on youtube. Literally every almost every music award show,even non western ones get rigged or dont treat certain artists right. Look at how mma treated mamamoo last year by giving them such a short ass time to perform when they are a senior group
