Funny, I loved the verses in Back Door and was kind of put off by the chorus at first. Also, can you include GHOST9 for your end of year review? They debuted on September 21st and literally the whole mini album has been on repeat for me this past week. I am obsessed, and I’d like to hear your opinion on them. The title track is called “Think of Dawn.”

If you like Love Bomb you should definitely listen to "Oh! My Mistake" by April. It has a similar kind of bubbly-ness and also SOOOOOOO addicting. P.S. the first fifteen seconds are kinda weird at first listen (like Love Bomb), so I always used to skip this song but once you get to the chorus you will realize it is great and have it on repeat for like 3 hours straight.

i think for taemins new comeback for me personally i would put it in my everyday playlist bc i love his style of music and i just generally love all of taemins smooth sultry songs BUT for a general and unbiased rating i would put the song in 2nd gen not bc the song is bad but bc sms marketing is shit and his song will just get washed away with the next comeback of another group/artist :( even taemin himself asked how he could get his song out so more people could listen even though he has a whole team of people who do it for him :/ also taemins second act is coming out soon so please stream 😌

⚠️ this is probably gonna be a long comment ⚠️ So if you wanna get into stray kids, i would recommend these songs based on the mood of the song. If you need a song, that’s cute or just happy and makes you smile: - get cool: that song is probably one of the cutest skz has ever made. The music video is cute (especially our maknaes Seungmin and I.N) and Hyunjin with those glasses- and you can’t miss out on the live stages, they’re top tier. The choreo is playful, not what you would expect from stray kids. - N/S: ok this isn’t exactly cute, but you cannot watch the street version of N/S without smiling, i swear. It has lot of iconic lines in it too(like ‘rEd LiGht GrEen LigHt SwAaaG’, or ‘weather feeling hot or cold, stray kids going fast or slow’ and so on) And we also get main rapper Yang Jeongin. - Awkward silence: kinda cute, a little bit weird-awkward, a perfect mix i love it. At first i didn’t think i would like it too much, but i do now. The music video is funny and this one scene, where Chan just swapped the camera and accidentally hit it so that if fell- 😂😂 And the dance practice...i’m dying -my universe: Vocal line’s unit song of the new repackage-album. Vocals vocals vocals ft. amazing rapper Changbin. It’s a great song it’s happy and the melody makes you fall in love. Seungmin’s and I.N’s unique vocal tones make it 100000x better. The live version is also amazing. -Question: It’s the street version again i guess. Skz are just so unbelievably entertaining i can’t. But the song actually has a nice meaning. Hyunjin’s verse is great in this and Felix’ ‘what the...’ was unexpected but we are not complaining☺️ They just mess around in this street version video. - mixtape: gone days: A song about people, that don’t get, that a new generation started and not everything should stay as it is. Kinda dissing the haters because they use autotune intentionally to say, that this is their music and their decision to use it. They also sing the line 'this is a new generation, go away' the music video is funny😂 And this horse in it- - Boxer: i feel like I'm a broken record, but Stray kids' street version videos...you can't just not love them. Also, Han's verse in, i think the second (?) verse, the one that starts with 'I'm gonna draw my future like Picasso' is iconic😂 and these scenes with the kids on the playground, where they teach them the miroh choreography- that's just cute. Next category is: sad/emotional songs (well most of the songs are sad bcs of the lyrics) this is gonna be a lot - Hellevator : I'm gonna start with their pre-debut songs. The first one is Hellevator. I put this in this category, because of THE LYRICS. You can google translate it. It's about how people will try to get you off of your path to make your dream come true, if their case, to be a singer. They will say, you won't get there and you just can't do it. And no one is there to comfort you. 'My life is a dark tunnel' a little bit depressing, isn't it. But that's how it is, no one says, life is gonna be easy. Han fricking Jisung with the fire raps AND the high note, which is written in a very high key is incredible and not just him, this song showcases a lot of their talents. I also love the choreo, and Seungmin starts off the song beautifully. Changbin's iconic extremely fast rap parts and so much more make this song amazing. - glow: Another pre-debut song, vocal based. It's beautiful. The lyrics, melody, even the choreography. And they wrote it themselves(as most of their songs) It's about their every day life as a trainee and how hard they have to work to archive the dream of debuting as a group. PLEASE look up the lyrics if you haven't. - I am YOU: Ok i don't know if this counts as a sad song, because it is not exactly SAD sad. But it has an emotional touch to it and it makes me sad sometimes. AGAIN, beautiful lyrics (as always) and the music video makes me wanna join the group. The life stages are are also a must watch. You'll understand. The chorus is so beautiful, the melody, the vocals, choreo everything is perfect. Bang Chan harmonizing with himself in some stages sound beautiful too. - Levanter: Same case, where do I put this? It is kinda sad, but the chorus is kinda happy and at the same time it still has a sad note, I don't know. Do I have to talk about the lyrics again, no, I would just repeat myself. This time we got a chill, graceful choreo with amazing imagery. Seungmin became the main dancer all of a sudden I guess. And main vocal at the same time. STAN TALENT. The music video is one of my favorites. - mixtape #1-#4: All the mixtapes make me emotional, especially #2. Combined with the music video...and yes, I have to say it again, the lyrics are amazingly written(by our poetic geniuses 3Racha) and emotional. Thy are inspiring and mixtape #1 motivates and encourages me a lot. Mixtape #4 should be my favorite, since it's an all members version of my favorite 3Racha song, broken compass. The chorus hits and i love everything about it. - grow up: Now THIS is a sad song for sure. As the title says, it's about growing up and becoming and adult. About all the members fears and concerns. But at the same time it's comforting and encouraging. This song means a lot to most STAYS and helped many to go on with their every day lives. The melody is sad indeed. And Chan's look in grow up is one of my favs just saying. - 19: Same topic, about crossing the age 19 and becoming an adult. The lyrics were written by the one and only squirrel Han Jisung and he did so well... the musisch video is very dark and meaningful, please watch it. Lee know's song for me. But that's just my opinion. A slow song for those who say, stray kids' music is too 'loud' and 'noisy' or even 'messy, listen to 19, honey, and then think again. - neverending story/story that' won't end: An OST for the K-drama 'extraordinary you'. Wow this song is incredible, as well as the live performance. Show this to the haters, that say, Stray kids 'can't sing'. All I can do is laugh. Because yes, their rap line is outstanding, but that doesn't mean they can't sing at all. If you think, they can only do one thing, you don't know stray kids very well. Vocal line went off. Hyunjin and Felix' rap fit in the song very well. Again, Han slaying these high notes. Seungmin in the chorus is what I'm living for. And Chan with his falsetto....we Stan an all rounder. I can also recommend the drama itself! - B me: On the repackage album. My favorite song on it to be specific(well together with phobia). I can't even explain, it's a new sound from them, but kinda the same style as phobia. The instrumental is beautiful. Felix' rap part is my favorite of his. The pre-chorus is also amazing. And the drop gives me life. The 'oh oh ooh oh oh ooh' part at the end makes it round and completes the song. I think the music video references to the mv of even a fool knows/mixtape: on track/ 바보라도 알아. (Keep reading in the replies)

Feel Good is such a jam! I'm not even a big Fromis_9 person (I watched Idol School and was NOT happy with the ending line up. Kinda tainted the group for me tbh), but Feel Good and Love Bomb are gems.

Lovelyz obliviate is actually my fav title track so far. I respect your opinion though. For everglow la di da i feel like its overrated and generic. Nothing can beat their debut song bon bon chocolat.

Everybody has their likes and dislikes when it comes to songs. So are those people who call you out for putting (g)i-dle in not my cup of tea category. And i also think we think alike. Clc helicopter wasnt my cup of tea at first.

me and my friend (my friend is a gigantic fan btw) were talking about skdz back door, we did not like it at all at first, we actually couldn't finish it at first cause it was so disappointing especially compared to other songs like easy and God's menu but after a while, we listened to it again and we really enjoyed it, it honestly needed to simmer a little bit for us lol

I'm just sad that people didn't like Obliviate :( the song is technically really solid , amazing instrumentals and amazing vocal melody production etc . there are SO many interesting and random stuff going on in the track , the "random" details which appear in the song and never actually come back , make it so valuable compared to the today pop music we listen to , which is basically repeated samples ! Obliviate includes diffrent synth sounds , amazing / thick vocal harmonies , strings and so many other instruments combined with EDM which is quite unique and rare ! But seems like people do only look for catchy hooks these days ... such an amazing song with an amazing , artistic concept and video , remains unknown and underrated ! I respect people's opinions , but I personally prefer this kind of music which is more musically deep and challenging to produce ! I don't stan Lovelyz and golden child , but their comebacks are actually 2 ( or 3 , including Wannabe) of the most high quality produced songs of 2020 !

What if research was actually made before making Bon voyage? When I Watched the mv more in depth I actually thought that it was way deeper to be called a pretty video which has used cultural references for aesthetics only ... we can't actually tell about weather it was used in a stereotypical way or in an artistic way unless we're artists ourselves ! I'm not a historian or an expert in art history , but as an art major , I've studied little bits of art history from around the world and with the small information I have , this mv and concept must have something to do with some idealogies from some cultures ( I won't name because as I said , my knowledge is limited and I don't want to get anything wrong or misonfrom people ! ) ... i just whish that someone who has more knowledge in arts and history could explain it to clear the misunderstandings !

Taemin's Criminal wasn't a kpop MV. It was a work of art. A high-end work of art. The concept, the lyrics, the rhythm, the dance, the melody, the choreography, the aesthetics, the blindfolds, the stage comebacks, the "DESTROY ME MORE" part, everything is more than perfect. It's magical. Taemin worked so hard for it my heart cries. It deserves SOTY.

Taemin's Criminal won't let me breathe for the next 100 years. That song is perfection itself. I don't have words to describe what a miracle it was. I mean I've loved all of TAEMIN's works till now they never disappoint but Criminal slapped really really hard like I can't even.. As for SuperM, I don't think I got what I was expecting from either Jopping, 100, Tiger or One. Although I think One was better than all of them I still think all of the 'best of kpop artists' potential is being underutilized there. AND WONHO'S OPEN MIND I- SORRY MAN I'M BEWITCHED Back door didn't appeal to me. But EX and Any. Man. I loved those two. Any is so different from their usual songs and with EX they proved that their songs aren't 'Noise' like people say. But man Any!
